Projects
Do I need CAD drawings to start?
No. A sketch, photo, moodboard, sample or a written description of the space is enough to begin. We help turn that into geometry, materials and a manufacturing approach.
What kinds of lighting do you make?
Sculptural pendants, wall features, integrated light installations, decorative fixtures and one-off pieces for interiors, retail, hospitality, exhibitions and branded spaces.
Can you fabricate interiors as well as lighting?
Yes. Lighting is the focus, and we back it with acrylic fabrication, wood fabrication, laser cutting, 3D printing, custom displays and mixed-material interior elements.
Process
How does a project start?
Send the idea through the quote form. We review the requirement, discuss materials and process, prototype where needed, then manufacture and deliver across the UAE.
Do you prototype before production?
Where the project needs it. We build, test and refine before committing to a finished one-off, batch run or low-volume production.
Where do you work?
We manufacture in the United Arab Emirates and deliver across all seven emirates.

What files can I send?
PDF, STL, STEP, OBJ, 3MF, DXF, DWG, JPG and PNG are all useful. So are photos of the space, material samples and rough sketches.
Is Lail part of BuildPlate?
Lail is a product and lighting brand developed through BuildPlate’s manufacturing infrastructure. Prototyping, manufacturing and iteration happen in the same ecosystem.
